The Pursuit of Happiness, 2022

Throughout this project Wootton-Davies explores and relives his late Grandfathers life, through the stories told by his Father and Grandmother. He manages to capture his Grandfather’s battle with depression; by his use of cold, hard metals in contrast to soft ‘work’ clothes. Wootton-Davies focuses on the event of his Grandfathers death, who sadly died due to a glider plane incident; asking the question “Did he crash his glider? Or did HE crash his glider?”
